Information for The Chamonix II

The Chamonix II is a 2004 70-foot Gold Coast Catamaran with 2,380 square feet of party space. Chamonix II offers open, well-ventilated deck space providing protection from sun and spray, with ample room for a band and moonlight dancing. Chamonix II comes complete with a skipper and crew. 

Try a sunrise breakfast cruise; enjoy a full day water fun sliding off the built-in water slide, swimming, or sunning on the deck. Don’t forget to add a couple of Waverunners for the most fun you’ve had since you were a kid! And for those with a preference for a more serene experience, take a sunset sail under the beautiful Texas sky and watch the stars come out as we glide across the calm cool waters of Lake Lewisville. Enjoy a delicious selection of sea-worthy foods, refreshing beverages all ready to quench your thirst for fun and adventure.
The maximum capacity of Chamonix II is 105 people. Please note, children and infants count the same as adults. Adult life jackets are kept onboard. If you will need a child or infant sized jacket please notify us in advance. If possible, children should bring their own jackets to ensure their comfort during the trip. Children must be supervised at all times.
Your skipper will be happy to sail your group to anywhere on Lake Lewisville within the time allotted. As mentioned, swimming and related water sports are permitted, however a change of clothing may make your guest more comfortable if sailing after sunset.

Features of Chamonix II:

• Bar - Chamonix II has a sit down bar with 10 bar stools. 
• Dance floor/band stand area - There is a dance floor area of about 10 x 14 feet. 
• Bathrooms - There are two bathrooms with push button flush and sink.
• Showers - There are two fresh water rinse off showers, one on bow and one on stern. 
• Boarding ladders - There are two boarding ladders, one is off the bow between the two bow nets and the other is on the starboard stern. 
• Roof deck - at anchor the roof deck is ideal for sunbathing. 
• Buffet/food service area - Across from the bar area to starboard is a display/buffet set up area which can be used for cold salads or for chaffing dishes. 
• Refrigeration - There are two large commercial refrigerators to keep food items cold. 
• Seating and tables - There are approximately 65 seats. Additional fold down tables and chairs can be added in dance floor area for about 15 additional persons giving us a total of about 80 seats. 
• Bow nets area - This is one of the favorite areas for guests to enjoy having a cocktail or lying on the nets and relaxing. 
• Water slide - A water slide is located on the starboard stern. 
• Music system - A stereo system with amplifiers provides a great sound system for dinner music or dancing. Bring your own cd's or a D.J. and party with your favorite music. 
• Enclosures - The open area on each side of the roof can be enclosed with top and side bimini curtains.
• For your dining pleasure, delicious food can be provided by your own caterer or one of our preferred caterers. Beverage service includes complimentary soft drinks and bottled water, however guests must provide alcohol. There are no restrictions on food or drink brought on board the vessel, however all persons consuming alcohol must be a minimum of 21 years of age with Valid I.D.

Booking Chamonix II:

Chamonix II is $900.00 per hour plus tax, and requires a 3 hour minimum. Prices include Crew, Bottled Water, and Soft Drinks. Typically Chamonix II is available seven days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. Any Charter Requests PAST 12 (MIDNIGHT) WILL REQUIRE AN ADDITIONAL $500.00 CREW SURCHARGE.

A 50% prepayment is required to make a reservation. The balance with tax is due prior to departure. Also due prior to departure, is a $1000.00 damage deposit. Cash, check, or credit card, can be accepted for all charges. The damage deposit does not apply toward the rental fee. Cancellations due to rainy or unsafe weather conditions will be rescheduled, or a refund of 100% of the deposit will be made. Unsafe weather conditions will be determined solely by management - at the scheduled time of the charter.
